Theoretically, UpdraftPlus is limitless with these storage solutions. If your web hosting provider ever interrupts a backup, UpdraftPlus is designed to resume the process seamlessly once connectivity is restored.

Handling large files

To manage large backups efficiently and avoid issues with file size restrictions, UpdraftPlus automatically splits backups into manageable chunks. The default setting slices the data every 400MB, but this is configurable. This feature ensures compatibility with your system’s zip file size limits. Generally, UpdraftPlus detects and adjusts to these limits automatically, requiring minimal manual configuration.

Email backup considerations
